Has a potent antimicrobial activity against Clostridial infection.
Recommended for respiratory tract infections, gastrointestinal tract infections and urinary tract infections caused by Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella.
Mechanism of action:
Inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase resulting in rapid bacterial death.
action of sodium butyrate:
Dissociates to butyric acid which is highly lipophilic so diffuses to bacterial membrane and prevent growth.
-Depresses the pH of intestine, causing growth of bacteria that produce lactic acid (Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria spp), the LA producing bacteria compete within the intestine on nutrients and space with pathogenic bacteria.
Sodium butyrate is effective against acid intolerant species such as Salmonella, Clostridium perfringens and E. coli. in addition, use of butyric acid reduced the ph. of gastrointestinal segments so could be a potential alternative in maintaining the health of gastrointestinal tract and improving the productive performance of poultry.
Health benefits of Recore:
Improving intestinal integrity & strengthen mucosal barrier to attack enteric pathogens as clostridia and E coli.
Increasing resistance to necrotic enteritis caused by clostridium perfringens.
Having potent anti-inflammatory action so reducing occurrence of diarrhea and relieving pain.
Promoting intestinal epithelial development for increasing surface of absorption.
Promoting intestinal epithelial, stimulate pancreatic enzymes& secretions so improve digestion during period of infection.
Dosage & administration:
0.5 gm / liter of drinking water for successive 3 days.
